Company History

March 1935: Started manufacturing and selling sweets in Ebisu-cho, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City

Temporarily closed due to war

October 1945: Resuming the manufacture and sale of confectionery and bread in Taimazato Minami-cho, Higashinari-ku, Osaka City

May 1956: Tomiya Confectionery Co., Ltd. was established to change the company structure.

October 1961: In order to expand sales channels, a new factory was built at 1-18 Uchidai-cho 2-chome, Miyakojima-ku, Osaka City.

October 1963: Started manufacturing and selling our signature product "Koi-san" (trademark registration: No. 0541322)

January 1970: Head office moved to current address

March 1971: Head office factory expanded.

August 1983: The store attached to the head office was renovated.

July 2002: Head office factory expanded and a parking lot was added.

January 2011: Head office factory renovated

January 2014: Re-upholstering tents at the head office

January 2015: Replacement of tents at the head office store

June 2016: Head office factory renovated to expand work space

February 2017: Company organization changed

August 2019: Established the sales department

July 2021: The tunnel kiln was abandoned due to the renovation of the head office factory.
